Tang Soo Do Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 based out of Battle Creek MI, whose mission is to bring traditional and affordable martial arts to our community. We have been assisting our local area as a non-profit organization and martial arts school for over 8 years, and in the United States as a martial arts organization for over 60 years. We are seeking partnership in the means of corporate sponsorship for a great community event that benefits our local non-profit organization, as well as Kids–Kicking-Cancer. This is a great non-profit whose mission is to assist cancer diagnosed children while dealing with the physical and mental struggles surrounding their treatment. This year, we will also be supporting an additional charity known as SWERV. SVERV is an organization seeking equality for women in competitive combat sports. All of these charities support a good cause, and are aligned with our beliefs and codes within the martial arts, and our organization. The Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso, Michigan will be holding a special history presentation on Michigan Train Robberies from the era of the steam engine. Come hear tales of russlers and bandits! The Steam Railroading Institute is dedicated to educating the public about steam era railroading in Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. This includes the preservation of the skills and technology for maintaining steam locomotives by operating steam era equipment and providing the experience of steam locomotives in actual operation. Tuesday | 6:00PM Distance: 18 miles Pace: 15-18 mph Bike Recommendation: Road, Pedal Assist This ride is a conversation pace for 6 miles followed by 6 miles as a self-timed time trial, and then we regroup a cool down ride back to the shop. All Levels are welcome. This is a great entry into bike fitness and a fun way to see your progress over the season
