Please allow me to introduce our organization to you. We are the K.I. Tang Soo Do Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 based out of Battle Creek MI, whose mission is to bring traditional and affordable martial arts to our community. We have been assisting our local area as a non-profit organization and martial arts school for over 8 years, and in the United States as a martial arts organization for over 60 years.
We are seeking partnership in the means of corporate sponsorship for a great community event that benefits our local non-profit organization, as well as Kids–Kicking-Cancer. This is a great non-profit whose mission is to assist cancer diagnosed children while dealing with the physical and mental struggles surrounding their treatment. This year, we will also be supporting an additional charity known as SWERV. SVERV is an organization seeking equality for women in competitive combat sports. All of these charities support a good cause, and are aligned with our beliefs and codes within the martial arts, and our organization.
The corporate sponsorship that we are seeking will assist with the cost associated with our charity tournament. Your monetary sponsorship will assist us in providing much needed financial assistance to the supported charities. Your donation will also provide your organization/business with the opportunity to be included in all of our social media, website and advertisements surrounding this event. We are a federal 501c3 non-profit foundation, so all donations are also tax deductible.
Along with the tournament, this event will also offer an opportunity for all of our sponsors to represent themselves on multiple platforms. A section of the Kellogg arena floor will be set aside for our sponsors to set up a table and/or display, as well as offer services at their booth upon request. Sponsors will also have the opportunity to advertise with banners within the event center, on the event centers digital signage network (arena video wall and monitors throughout the arena), and to sponsor the grand prize black belt divisions. We estimate 350 to 500 competitors with over 2,000 in house spectators and over 20,000 online media impressions. We intend to continue this event annually in the Battle Creek area and our goal is to grow it into a popular national event. This is great for the charities, the sponsors, the sport of martial arts, and the community as a whole.
If you wish to donate to support this event, please do not hesitate to contact us. Or, reach out to our tournament promoter, David E Praim, directly. We thank you for your support and look forward to discussing these opportunities with you. This tournament is sanctioned by the MSKC – Michigan Sport Karate Circuit, AKA – American Karate Association, and is supported by the WKC – World Karate Commission.
