Glow Golf @ The Squirrel is back!!! Join us Saturday, June 22nd for our first Glow Golf event of the year! ? The theme is “Western”! Decorate your cart & dress up and join us for a fun night of Glow-In-The-Dark Golf! This event is a 4-person scramble. Cart Decorations begins at 8:00PM, tee-off is at 10:00PM. The cost is $200/team ($50/person), and includes 9 holes of Glow-In-The-Dark Golf, 2 Glow-In-The-Dark golf balls, fun prizes and other fun games! The course is lit up with with LED lights, lights, and glow sticks to create a cool experience to golf after dark. Cart Decoration prizes will begin at 9:45 before tee-off. Every Tuesday morning, enjoy special programs featuring a variety of entertainment the whole family will enjoy at the Miller Stone Building, 77 Capital Ave N.E.
Members from the North Country Trail Association will stop by to give us the history of the North Country National Scenic Trail, which runs right behind Willard Library. The trail spans 11 states from North Dakota to Vermont, for a total of 4,800 miles. Michigan is home to the most NCT miles of any state. They’ll cover what to wear on hikes, what you need to hike, how to be safe, tips for following trail signs, ways to volunteer, and how to take part in group hikes.
