Royal Events is a group of unique event-producing companies. The Crown Cheer and Dance Championships and Ultimate Championship Experience (UCE). In addition, Royal Events also produces the Small Gym Nationals and provides stylish cheer and dance apparel through Royal Threads. Royal Events was co-founded by Emmitt Tyler and Kevin Spencer. The two met back in college and were members of the 1994 University of Louisville championship cheerleading team. Emmitt is best known in the industry for co-founding JAMfest Events in 1996 and forming the JAM Brands in 2007. Kevin started the Crown Cheer & Dance Championships in 2016 and acquired Ultimate Cheer Experience in 2019. In late 2020, Emmitt joined Kevin on the Crown and UCE team as a strategic partner. The two created Royal Events Group shortly after in the spring of 2021. Royal Events Group is passionate about providing THE BEST competition experience for its athletes, coaches, and spectators. Samuel Fedele – Classical Pianist in Concert

Samuel Fedele, Battle Creek native and Lakeview High graduate will be the first artist to perform for the 2024 season of Sunday Afternoon Live! season. Since leaving Battle Creek, Samuel has studied classical piano and composition at the University of Windsor, Ontario, and will be performing selections from Bach, Liszt, Clementi, and some of his own compositions. Sunday Afternoon Live! concerts are free to the public, and include a family friendly reception where patrons can meet the artists and enjoy fellowship with each other. The mission of Sunday Afternoon Live is to enrich the cultural life of the greater Battle Creek Community and to continue the tradition of the First Congregational Church as a patron of artistic creativity and expression. We endeavor to do this by sponsoring a series of free concerts that present musical artistry that is exciting, beautiful, varied and enjoyable. We will underwrite the concerts by means of donors and sponsors in order to make the concerts available to the entire community.
