Day of the Dead Voces announces to the entire Community about our annual Day of the Dead Event to be held on Saturday, November 2nd at the Kellogg Arena from 3 to 8 PM. Following tradition, this event will feature an abundance of culture, gastronomy, presentation of our art, contests alluding to this celebration, creativity in textile and jewelry creations and above all the opportunity for the Community to enjoy a moment of relaxation and getting closer to our roots. The orchestra will perform patriotic favorites such as Battle Hymn of the Republic, Requiem for a Soldier from Band of Brothers, and the Armed Forces Salute. The symphony will be joined by eight choirs from throughout the region to send a unified salute to veterans. This multimedia event includes a photo slideshow with photographs of our local veterans.

The Battle Creek Regional History Museum is welcoming historic re-enactor Vickie St. John who will be holding a traditional Victorian Tea as part of an exclusive program on November 9th, 2024 from 2-4 PM. A perfect way to put some sparkle into the season, and get some creative ideas for your upcoming holiday celebrations! This is a very limited seating event for only 50 people. The program will feature a presentation from Ms. St. John on the history and traditions of a Victorian women's tea, clothing, food and also parlor games. In 2014 he was in the Semi-Finals of the Comedy 10K as well as being featured on the cover of Revue Magazine. His strangely endearing personality and ability to riff, rant and improvise sets him apart and makes every show unique.
