The Cereal City Triathlon and Series is designed to give kids a taste of the world of multi-sport in a fun and non-intimidating way. There will be two course options to choose from based on ability level, not age. This event is a fun, untimed event. Our goal is to promote healthy, active kids and develop a love of multi-sport events. Parents are more than welcome to time their own children for those that have a competitive drive. Before the event, please practice with your children each of the three disciplines (swim, bike, and run) as well as transitioning from one event to the other (I.E. putting socks and shoes on wet feet, taking off helmets, etc.) The Cereal City KIDS Triathlon is geared specifically for kids ages 4-13. Kids will swim, bike and run within and around Willard Beach Park. All participants will receive a completion medal, a t-shirt and swim cap. Parents are welcome to join their kids on the course .
