It's almost time again for one of the FAVORITE tournaments of the year! The APA Triple Elimination 8-Ball Tournament is scheduled for October 20-22, 2032! There is a $7,250 Total Prize Pot with the total purse based on 25 team maximum. Registration is now open and it is first come, first serve. Reserve your team spot with a $150.00 non-refundable deposit. Total team entry fee is $500 and any payments received on Friday must me made in cash only. Registration deadline is October 16th - but be forewarned, it will likely fill up much sooner than that! So REGISTER FAST!!! We can't wait for this event! Kellogg Community College will open its 2023-24 concert season this month with a KCC Faculty Artist Recital on campus in Battle Creek. The recital, which will showcase the high caliber artistry of KCC’s accomplished music faculty, will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave. The event is free and open to the public, though a freewill offering will be collected to support future music programming and initiatives at the College, including a planned concert tour of Austria in 2025. According to Dr. Gerald J. Case-Blanchard, director of vocal music and Music Area coordinator at KCC, “this recital promises to make your spirits soar.” Faculty artists will perform more than a dozen works demonstrating a wide variety of genres, styles and musical periods. The repertoire will range from classic works by G.F. Handel, J.S. Bach and others and will expand to new works including a solo piano piece composed and arranged by KCC faculty pianist Nancy D. Brown. “There will even be a bit of Broadway and beyond thrown in for good measure,” Case-Blanchard said. “There is truly something for everyone in this program.” […]

SAVE THE DATE! Kellogg Community College's annual Bruin Boo Halloween event for families will return Oct. 26 with the dual manufacturing/storybook theme: Building Stories! During the family-friendly free event, KCC students and employees alike will be dressed to impress in their Halloween best to hand out candy to community trick-or-treaters at dozens of stations offering candy and other giveaways in the halls at KCC.
