Festivus 2024: The Cardboard Sled Competition
Leila Arboretum Society 928 W Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI, United StatesJoin us at Leila Arboretum on Saturday, FebruHairy 10th, for Festivus 2024: The Cardboard Sled Competition, and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of cardboard sledding at Leila Arboretum from 1 - 5 p.m. Hot dogs, chili, hot chocolate and adult beverages available for purchase! Sled registration begins at the Arboretum at 1 p.m., sleds run at 2:30 p.m. Prizes will be announced and awarded after all sleds run. Prize categories for youth and adults: • Best Run • Most Stachetastic (Most Moustache themed) • Leila's Choice • Worst Run • Best Wipeout Official Rules: FESTIVUS 2024: THE CARDBOARD SLED COMPETITION RULES 1. It's a CARDBOARD sled race. Sleds must be constructed using cardboard, adhesive and paint ONLY 2. Registration begins at 1 p.m. 3. Must show valid I.D. to purchase adult beverages 4. Safety first: Sledding is inherently dangerous. EVERYONE MUST SIGN A WAIVER. SLED AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! ***HELMETS ENCOURAGED*** 5. Must be present to receive prize award. 6. HAVE FUN!!!
