The Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k is Battle Creek's only half marathon. With a unique course that lets runners run on airport runways, through the festival grounds of the Field of Flight, and through the quiet neighborhoods of Battle Creek and the Goguac Lake area. The Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k is a culmination of the running community of Battle Creek and brings hundreds of participants and spectators from both near and far. We are excited to be bringing the Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k to the area for the 5th year. ABOUT THIS EVENT: The Battle Creek YMCA proudly presents the 96th Goguac Lake Swim which will take place at Goguac Lake (Willard Beach). Participants will swim 1.15 miles in open water, with times being recorded for overall and age bracket winners. Proceeds from the event will go to help teach kids to swim in our local YMCA "Begin to Swim Program".
