Put your skills to the test with EUCHRE @ THE HOLLOW!!  Starting January 14th, going every other Sunday thru March: $5 buy-in per PLAYER, registration starts at 12:30, play begins at 1:00PM. Each player will play 10 rounds, alternating your teammate & opponents every game! Breaks will be taken every third game. Cash prizes will be awarded. 2024 Easter Egg Hunt

FREE TO THE PUBLIC! As we go into year #3, I am happy to share with you all some additions to all the fun! We will have over 150 prizes for the kids who find the eggs with raffle tickets inside of them! Those tickets could be inside of golden eggs or they can be in the regular eggs!!! YUP! WE ARE SHAKING THINGS UP THIS YEAR!🥳🥳 New this year, sno-cones provided by Kona-Ice out of Marshall!!! We have 2 bikes up for grabs for our age groups 5-8 and 9-12! Our BC K-9 unit along with a BC fire truck will be in attendance to hang out with the kids! Movies tickets for the kids to win and more!

These two longtime friends, each an accomplished musician, combine to deliver a powerful message of love, friendship, and the celebration of diversity through roots music, which is defined as Folk, blues, Spirituals, Work Songs and chants. Their message is a presentation of how music weaves all of us in America and the world together using “common chords”, which have been interpreted in different ways to reflect the experiences through these different but similar genres of music. Often performed in schools to illustrate how we are different, but all the same to promote equity and celebrate diversity. No matter the audience, the message is the same, the values that we have in common are more important than our differences. Sunday Afternoon Live! concerts are free to the public and include a family friendly reception where patrons can meet the artists and enjoy fellowship with each other. The mission of Sunday Afternoon Live! is to enrich the cultural life of the greater Battle Creek Community and to continue the tradition of the First Congregational Church as a patron of artistic creativity and expression.
