We'll provide the t-shirts, dye, and other supplies, but please feel free to bring your own item from home you would like to tie dye as well. We'll also have lawn games, sprinklers, and food!

Members from the North Country Trail Association will stop by to give us the history of the North Country National Scenic Trail, which runs right behind Willard Library. The trail spans 11 states from North Dakota to Vermont, for a total of 4,800 miles. Michigan is home to the most NCT miles of any state. They’ll cover what to wear on hikes, what you need to hike, how to be safe, tips for following trail signs, ways to volunteer, and how to take part in group hikes.
Hear stories about motorcycles and bikes, and even have an opportunity to touch and take pictures with motorcycles in the back parking lot of Willard Library.

All father figures are invited to spend some special time with their little ones at the library. Throughout the day, crafts will be available for children to complete for their father figures.
Anthropologist Zarinah El-Amin will share the history and culture of headwrapping. Learn styles and try on different scarves from around the world in our wrapping sessions with her team of headwrapologists. Grab a friend and come on down for an evening of culture! Santa Claus is coming to Willard! Visit the library to take a picture with Santa Claus. Make sure you bring your Christmas list so Santa knows what you'd like for Christmas. While you are here, don't miss your chance to make some holiday themed crafts, or get cozy on the Lower Level and watch a movie.
