We are excited to welcome the Youth to Join us in Downtown Battle Creek for our 5th Annual Youth Day!
We are excited to announce an upcoming event hosted by the 5C’s group—a fun and meaningful family bike ride aimed at raising awareness about the importance of colon cancer screening and prevention. The event will include: A leisurely bike ride to promote awareness of the need for colon cancer testing and screening. Educational vendors providing valuable information on cancer prevention and other health-related topics. Entertainment featuring Bobby Holly. A special welcome and ride kickoff from the Battle Creek Mayor. All participants will receive a completion gift.' Helmets are required to be worn at all times during the ride. Route: Mill Race Park to Linear Path west along river to Stringham Rd. We would love for you to be part of this special day, supporting a great cause and helping spread awareness for colon cancer prevention. The funds raised will directly benefit 5C’s, as we continue our mission to provide resources and support for cancer prevention efforts in our community. We are thrilled to announce that the renowned Post Band is celebrating its remarkable 100th year of music-making! To commemorate this incredible milestone, the band is returning to Festival Market Square, where it all began, for a special performance on Thursday, June 8th at 7 PM. Post Band, a beloved local institution, has entertained generations with their extraordinary musical talents. The upcoming concert promises to be a spectacular evening filled with nostalgia, exceptional melodies, and a celebration of the band's rich history. Please note that due to the unique nature of this event, audience members are kindly requested to bring their own chairs. Ensuring your own seating arrangements will help us accommodate as many people as possible while maintaining a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. But that's not all! In a nod to their enduring legacy, this year's season will feature a rotating location schedule, taking the festivities to various parks across Battle Creek.
