FUNNY WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE® is a show straight from the unfettered mouths and uninhibited minds of the funniest, most daring, most experienced people in comedy: the women that have seen it all. They’ve raised children both on and off the road, having club bouncers watch their babies while onstage. These women have stayed in comedy condos where you don’t want to use a blacklight on anything. They’ve been told women aren’t funny and asked to trade sexual favors for work. Trust us, they have A LOT to say and they say it hysterically. Food Prize is a food event and pitch competition highlighting up and coming food entrepreneurs. The event at Kellogg Arena is Saturday, October 7 from 12-5 pm. Come try exciting new foods from invigorating food makers all across Southwest Michigan and cast your vote on who should take home a piece of the prize pool! Tang Soo Do Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 based out of Battle Creek MI, whose mission is to bring traditional and affordable martial arts to our community. We have been assisting our local area as a non-profit organization and martial arts school for over 8 years, and in the United States as a martial arts organization for over 60 years. We are seeking partnership in the means of corporate sponsorship for a great community event that benefits our local non-profit organization, as well as Kids–Kicking-Cancer. This is a great non-profit whose mission is to assist cancer diagnosed children while dealing with the physical and mental struggles surrounding their treatment. This year, we will also be supporting an additional charity known as SWERV. SVERV is an organization seeking equality for women in competitive combat sports. All of these charities support a good cause, and are aligned with our beliefs and codes within the martial arts, and our organization.
