The Sound of Freedom: A Juneteenth Celebration

As we celebrate Juneteenth, Willard Library presents the “Sound of Freedom,” a celebration of African-American musicians who nurtured their art in Battle Creek and went on to change the world. The event will feature a mix of musical performances and conversations, moderated by Sonya Bernard-Hollins, author of ”Here I Stand.” This is a ticketed event. Tickets will be available to pick up at either library location beginning June 1, while supplies last.

Meet Santa and His Reindeer at Willard Library

Santa Claus is coming to Willard! Visit the library to take a picture with Santa Claus. Make sure you bring your Christmas list so Santa knows what you'd like for Christmas. While you are here, don't miss your chance to make some holiday themed crafts, or get cozy on the Lower Level and watch a movie.
