The trail spans 11 states from North Dakota to Vermont, for a total of 4,800 miles. Michigan is home to the most NCT miles of any state. They’ll cover what to wear on hikes, what you need to hike, how to be safe, tips for following trail signs, ways to volunteer, and how to take part in group hikes.
