The Grand Cereal Parade will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, starting at 6:30pm NOTICE: New parade route for 2026! Join us for the kick-off of National Cereal Festival 2026! Parade route will be located downtown Battle Creek beginning and ending at The Rink City Lot. We will depart the Rink City Lot, head left onto McCamly, right onto Jackson, right on to Capital, right on to Hamblin, left on McCamly and back into the City Rink lot. ???? The National Cereal Festival returns Saturday, June 13, 2026! ???? If you are unfamiliar, this signature festival highlights Battle Creek’s heritage as the birthplace of the cereal industry and is a tradition that has drawn people far and wide for over 50 years. The Cereal Festival will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, on McCamly St. starting at Michigan to Hamblin Ave., from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Festival activities include live music, exotic animal shows, games, competitions, vendors, children’s activities and more. The vendors will operate from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Join us for the Battle Creek Regional History Museum's 4th Annual concert celebrating the music of Del Shannon and his era. Del Shannon wrote and performed his hit song Runaway for the first time in Battle Creek, and launched his career as a music legend. All proceeds from this concert goes to support the museum and future exhibits to preserve the music history of our city. This year the popular 60's Tribute Band band Glad All Over returns to highlight the performance featuring songs from the era. Opening the show will be Motown Tribute artist Rob Carter who will also offer some new surprises this year lending his remarkable voice to singing some of Del Shannon's songs as well. The concert will be held at the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium this year, with an intermission and great music merchandise and fun! Come make memories with us as we Runaway for an evening one more time!
