The Battle Creek Farmers Market will run Wednesdays 9am-1pm (Mid-Week Markets), starting May 15 – October 9 and Friday June 21, August 16, and October 11 6pm-9pm (Night Markets). Battle Creek Farmers Market provides fresh, local grown foods, as well as local food vendors every Wednesday from 9am – 1pm. Live music provided by local musicians! The Battle Creek Farmers Market strives to provide a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community gathering space. Join us at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum for a special presentation by cemetery preservation experts Bobbie Mathis and Andrew Noland. They will cover some of the history of cemeteries, the preservation of historic tombstones, monuments and markers. They will also discuss in detail repair methods, restoration as will as symbology that you might encounter in historic cemeteries. Bobbie Mathis and Andrew Noland have repaired and restored thousands of historic tombstones in cemeteries across Michigan and in surrounding states.
