The KCC Concert Band, performing under the baton of Director Christopher Momcilovich, will present “A Winter’s Note” starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in the Binda Performing Arts Center on campus at 450 North Ave. The event is free and open to the public. The concert promises an evening of festive and heartwarming music to welcome in the holiday season, combining traditional favorites with contemporary pieces that capture the joy, togetherness and wonder of winter. The KCC Jazz Band’s “Ugly Sweater Swing” concert will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek. The event is free and open to the public. Band members under the direction of KCC Jazz Band Director Eric Campbell will perform holiday favorites, and attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their most festive holiday sweaters to fully embrace the spirit of the event.     The Battle Creek Regional History Museum returns with the popular seasonal program Tales of Christmas Past with a live performance of Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' originally peformed on live radio by the Campbell Playhouse in 1938. This will be a stage performance of the classic story reading using the original script and a live cast. The cast for this performance will include Dave Eddy, Michael Delaware, Donna Rickman, Jim Cable, Jim Jackson and Lora Vasquez with Mike Pier on SFX. The evening will include self serve food in a dinner theatre environment. Seating is limited to 50 guests at the performance. Tickets are $20 each. All proceeds go to support the Battle Creek Regional History Museum.
