The Kellogg Community College Concert Band under the direction of Christopher R. Momcilovich is proud to present “Echoes of Autumn” beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Binda Performing Arts Center on campus at 450 North Ave. The program “will reflect the beauty and change of the season, weaving together familiar sounds and fresh musical perspectives that capture both reflection and renewal,” according to Momcilovich. The concert is free and open to the public.
AutoMODIFIED is back downtown to host our Annual Trunk or Treat! We will be shutting down Michigan Ave from Hamblin Ave to Capital Ave, as well as a portion of Jackson St. Sunday October 26th from 5-8pm. This is a free event for everyone. All vehicles are welcome to attend, you will be lined up downtown Michigan Ave with one goal in mind. Pass out as much Candy to the kids that you can!! Every year we host this event and we hope this one will be the biggest one yet. Please respect the area, no burnouts allowed, we ask that any movies playing in cars must be kid friendly, along with the music. Bruin Boo returns Oct. 29! Kellogg Community College invites kids and their families to an evening of free trick-or-treating and Halloween fun during the return of KCC’s award-winning Bruin Boo event on campus in October. Bruin Boo is a family-friendly, free event for kids of all ages that will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, on KCC’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. During the event, KCC students and employees alike will be “dressed to impress in their Halloween best” to hand out candy and other giveaways to community trick-or-treaters at dozens of stations on campus. In addition to trick-or-treating, Bruin Boo activities will include: > Halloween games and activities led by KCC students and employees > Halloween-themed coloring pages designed by KCC’s Graphic Design students > Face painting > Additional fun and giveaways from our community sponsors > And much more!
