Mardis Gras in the Creek

Festival Market Square 25 McCamly St S, Battle Creek

Coming to Downtown Battle Creek on Saturday, June 29th from 9 AM - 10 PM in Festival Market Square. The Village Network of Battle Creek will host Mardi Gras in the Creek, a celebration of collective liberation that will engage community members in downtown Battle Creek. The event will include a social gumbo, everything from wealth building listening sessions to a Family Feud game, a teen skating party, a panel discussion with local community champion Jeff Cotton of Big Homies, a Shrimp-N-Grits cookoff, a gala featuring a Lux Hair Show by Third, economic development strategy sessions, youth empowerment and more. Del Shannon Classic Car Show | Del Shannon Weekend

This is the 2nd Annual Del Shannon Car Show, a part of Del Shannon weekend in Battle Creek Michigan. The car show will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Leila Arboretum located at 928 W Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI. Gate open at 9:30 AM, registration starts at 11:00 AM. Register a vehicle at: https://donorbox.org/delshannoncarshow2024 Classic car vehicle registration is $15 in advance for each one entered in the show on this site. Advance registration guarantees you a Del Shannon Car Show dash plaque. Vehicle registration on the day of the show is $15 (cash) at the gate. The event is free to the public, but there is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle. There will be food, music and games! Come out and get your Del Shannon weekend T-shirt! The four class categories will be: Classic Cars, Trucks, Military Vehicles & Motorcycles. Pints for a Purpose | Griffin Grill & Pub

Please Join us at the Griffin Pub on Saturday June 29th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm for the second annual Pints for a Purpose. We will donate $1 to Rocky Start Rescue for each drink sold during the Event. The event will feature live music, merchandise, swag, a raffle, and adoptable animals. Bring the family for a fun evening plus help support a great Rescue! If you are unable to attend but would like to donate, please drop off any items/donations at the Griffin, now until the event. Following is a Wish List of items for the Rescue.
