Humane Society of South Central Michigan’s Canine Carnival

The Canine Carnival taking place at the shelter on Saturday, August 26 from 9am to 4pm. It is a day of fun for the whole family, kids and dogs especially! We will have:

• Dog lure course. For $5, your dog can run the lure course. Action photos of your dog on the course will be available for purchase. Don’t have a dog? That’s ok, it’s lots of fun to watch!
• Dog demonstrations. The HSSCM Canine Training Institute, Michigan Search and Rescue, and Paws with a Cause organizations will be hosting demonstrations throughout the day. Canine Training Institute trainers will also have an “ask the expert” booth to ask questions about your dog’s behavior and training.
• Free kid crafts, kid games, and kid scavenger hunt
• Craft/vendor booths featuring stained glass, crochet, wreaths, wood art, quilting, marbling, bird items, and more!
• Food truck

We will be highlighting all of the craft and vendors who will have booths on our Facebook page between now and the event.
