First Fridays Live Music Series
We are proud to announce “First Fridays Live Music” starting April 5th in Downtown Battle Creek. Each first Friday of the month, starting in April, we will be supporting live music at downtown bars and restaurants through November!

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us in Battle Creek, Michigan! Join us on May 4th from 3pm to 8pm at Festival Market Square for a fun-filled event featuring live music, live performances, food trucks, vendors, inflatables, and community partners.
Dance the day away to live music, enjoy the colorful and vibrant traditional dance performances, and indulge in delicious food from the variety of food trucks. Shop for unique items from our vendors. And don’t forget to check out the inflatables for the kids!
This event is the perfect way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with your family and friends while supporting our local community partners. Admission is free, so bring your energy and come join the fun! We can’t wait to see you there!
Roper Romp BC!
Who wants to dress like the Ropers from Three’s Company & go on a romp?
Come join us for a fun-filled day at Handmap Brewing (and other locations along the romp!)
Must have valid photo ID to verify age (21+) at the start of the event
Event Time: Saturday, May 11th 1-4pm
Tickets are $30 per team (2 people per team) The romp includes stops at a variety of downtown bar and retail locations, offering special Romp offers and Roper Romp challenges.
Teams of two will romp around Downtown Battle Creek, completing in challenges at a variety of locations! (locations will be announced soon!)

Theatre week will showcase our local actors and artists in a series of different events taking place from May 19-May 25. On Sunday, May 19th, What A Do Theatre will be traveling to Wharton in Lansing, Michigan to see the Broadway National Tour of Six: The Musical. This is through a partnership between What A Do Theatre and Wharton's Arts within Reach Program. The goal of this partnership is to make the arts affordable and accessible for all! Willard Beach Park will be the site for this high quality multi sport event. There is a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams of all types are also encouraged to participate. Swim 500 meters, Bike 12.4 miles (20K), Run 3.1 miles (5K). This is one of the best courses around for a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, or relay. This year the Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon is offering both 2 and 3-person relays. Each team member will be able to register and pay individually as well, so no need to worry about who is footing the bill! Grab your fastest friends, your swim team teammates, and your cycling pals and put together a winning relay team! Returning this year, ages 18 and under can participate in our "Super Sprint" option which consists of a 400 meter swim, 10K bike, and 3K run. Scholarships are now available for the Cereal City KIDS Triathlon event, thanks to the Cereal City Triathlon. Nominate a child you know who would love to have the opportunity to experience the event but may have a financial obstacle in the way!
