SUMMARY:Del Shannon Celebration Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Battle Creek Regional History Museum’s 4th Annual concert celebrating the music of Del Shannon and his era. Del Shannon wrote and performed his hit song Runaway for the first time in Battle Creek\, and launched his career as a music legend. \nAll proceeds from this concert goes to support the museum and future exhibits to preserve the music history of our city. \nThis year the popular 60’s Tribute Band band Glad All Over returns to highlight the performance featuring songs from the era. \nOpening the show will be Motown Tribute artist Rob Carter who will also offer some new surprises this year lending his remarkable voice to singing some of Del Shannon’s songs as well. \nThe concert will be held at the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium this year\, with an intermission and great music merchandise and fun! Come make memories with us as we Runaway for an evening one more time! \nGeneral admission tickets are $15 each. Couples are $25\, and there are also special group ticket packages that will bring prices to $10 each.
